Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), a total of 2 lakh families in Chittorgarh have been provided with free LPG gas connections. This initiative aims to ensure that poor families have access to clean and efficient cooking fuel, which improves their health and reduces reliance on traditional, polluting fuels like firewood.
Chittorgarh city will be connected to the gas pipeline network, enabling the residents to receive cooking gas directly to their homes through the pipeline. This will eliminate the need for LPG cylinders and enhance the convenience and reliability of gas supply for households.
In total, approximately 3.5 lakh families across the Chittorgarh Lok Sabha constituency have benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. This initiative has played a key role in ensuring cleaner and safer cooking methods for families, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
