C.P. Joshi played a pivotal role in the establishment of a Medical College in Chittorgarh. This project, with an investment of ₹325 crores, aims to improve healthcare facilities in the region by providing state-of-the-art medical education and training for aspiring healthcare professionals. It will significantly contribute to addressing the shortage of healthcare workers and improve access to quality medical care for the people of Chittorgarh.
Chittorgarh has been included in the Pratap Tourist Circuit, a move that will enhance the city’s tourism potential. The development work, estimated to cost ₹100 crores, includes the improvement of infrastructure, creation of tourist facilities, and enhancement of local heritage sites. This initiative will boost the local economy, create jobs, and attract tourists, thereby making Chittorgarh a major destination for historical and cultural tourism.
To improve accessibility and promote tourism, a ropeway will be constructed at Chittorgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ropeway will provide tourists with an easy and scenic way to reach the fort, offering an enhanced visitor experience. This development will also contribute to the preservation of the fort while facilitating higher tourist footfall.
The introduction of India's first Vande Bharat train to the Mewad region is a landmark achievement. Another important infrastructure development is the 6-lane road connecting Chittorgarh to Udaipur, completed with an investment of ₹1100 crores. The Ring Road Project for Chittorgarh has received approval, which will alleviate traffic congestion within the city and improve connectivity to neighboring towns. This infrastructure will help improve urban mobility, reduce travel time, and contribute to the city's overall urban planning efforts.
The Central Road Fund has been utilized for the construction of 13 roads across the Chittorgarh constituency, with an investment of ₹500 crores. These roads will improve connectivity between rural and urban areas, facilitate the movement of goods and people, and contribute to overall regional development.
The establishment of passport offices in Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh has benefited over 30,000 citizens. This initiative has made it easier for residents to apply for passports and travel abroad, improving administrative accessibility and enhancing the region’s international connectivity.
C.P. Joshi has ensured the free distribution of LPG gas connections to more than 5 lakh women in his constituency, improving cooking safety and quality of life. Furthermore, a domestic gas pipeline network has been extended to 10 towns and villages, ensuring easier access to clean energy for cooking and heating purposes.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), 50,000 houses have been approved for urban and rural areas in Chittorgarh. This project aims to provide affordable housing to the underprivileged, addressing the housing crisis in the region and ensuring that more families have access to safe and comfortable homes.

As part of his educational initiatives, Swami Vivekananda Model Schools have been established at the block level across Chittorgarh with an investment of ₹7 crores per school. These schools are equipped with modern amenities and aim to provide holistic education to students in rural areas, promoting overall growth and development.
Under the Prime Minister’s Mineral Welfare Fund (DMFT), over ₹500 crores has been allocated for more than 1500 development works, primarily in the areas of education, healthcare, and community welfare. This fund has played a crucial role in bringing about positive changes in the lives of people in the constituency.
A significant health infrastructure project in Chittorgarh is the establishment of a 100-bed Women and Child Hospital with a budget of ₹1800 crores. To improve healthcare in the region, oxygen plants have been established in both Chittorgarh and Pratapgarh, along with a Cancer Care Center and a Mother Milk Bank in Chittorgarh. Additionally, a High-Frequency Digital X-Ray Machine has been installed to improve diagnostic capabilities.
High-level bridges on the Kapasan-Chauraha-Manpura road and Delwas Bedch River have been approved, with investments of ₹56 crores and ₹20 crores, respectively. These bridges will improve transportation and connectivity, particularly in remote areas, and reduce travel time significantly.
Under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), development works worth ₹250 crores have been approved in Chittorgarh. These projects focus on rural infrastructure development, including roads, irrigation, and water supply systems, which will improve living conditions for rural populations.
An elevated road construction project in Gangrar has been approved, aimed at alleviating traffic congestion and improving urban mobility in this important region of Chittorgarh.
The establishment of a wildlife sanctuary and development of Nirmal Van (a forest development project) at Chittorgarh Fort has been approved. This initiative will contribute to the conservation of local biodiversity, enhance the region’s ecological balance, and promote sustainable tourism.
